He said there was suspicious activity on my account, specifically a charge from Groupon. He asked me to archive my savings accounts saying they’d be restored later - luckily, my savings were locked in a long term plan so I couldn’t do that. Next, he told me to enable Apple Pay so my Face ID could be verified. Then he told me to uninstall and reinstall the app. Once I did that, I noticed a £180 purchase from Sainsbury's on my account.

I received a rather concerning call today from someone purporting to be from Monzo. They asked for my name, but strangely enough, didn’t bother with any security checks. The caller mentioned that there had been an attempt to make a bank transfer using an Android device and enquired whether I had received any notifications about unexpected payments. He claimed they would dispatch a new bank card within three to five days and would block my existing one. Oddly, he stated that a colleague would ring me back shortly - within two minutes, no less - before abruptly ending the call. However, I haven't heard a peep since. When I attempted to return the call, it just kept disconnecting. Now, I can’t shake the feeling of unease creeping in; what if this is part of some scam and they’re trying to access my account and my funds?

I recently purchased a pair of shoes via an Instagram account named @designergiant. The following day, I received a call from a number claiming to be TSB, informing me that my payment had not gone through. In a moment of folly, I proceeded to make the payment again. Then, they insisted that I needed to respond to some security questions for the transaction to be approved. They asked for a plethora of personal details, including my address, username, sort code, account number, and password. At that point, I realised it was a scam, and they were attempting to break into my online bank account. Now, I'm just waiting to hear from the bank regarding the possibility of recouping my funds. Please, for your own safety, do not send them any money and make sure to block that number!

I got a call today from 0800 802 1282, claiming to be my bank’s support worker. He said someone was trying to hack my account, so I gave him my PIN. Then he logged me out and emptied my account. I've contacted my bank and they’re launching an investigation now. When I looked at the transactions, the money had been transferred to a company called MoneyGram, some place in the US. I’m seriously thinking of taking legal action because I’m not someone to mess with. Never had anything like this happen before.

I received a rather alarming call from someone purporting to be with the Monzo Fraud Team, who informed me that they had spotted a transaction that appeared suspicious. They seemed quite credible since they already possessed some of my personal details. During the conversation, they mentioned a request for a statement linked to an account that wasn't mine, prompting me to transfer my remaining funds into the account they claimed to have ‘safeguarded’. Regrettably, they then proceeded to drain that account. It wasn't until my card was used - after I was assured it had been locked - that I realised I had fallen victim to a scam.

Got a call from these lot yesterday, they were fishing for info to get into my Monzo account. They ask loads of questions to trick you into thinking it’s legit, then try shifting money into an account in my name. After that, they attempt to spend using my card info. I almost got scammed out of £1500 at John Lewis and £250 with CK Integrated Services. Ended the call straight away and phoned Monzo on the number behind my card!
