This is a scam, don’t fall for it. They ring you up pretending to be Monzo, saying there’s been some dodgy activity like a Post Office re-delivery showing up in your texts. They’ll ask about some transactions and then claim there’s a much larger one happening behind the scenes. Supposedly, they can stop it if you give them your “approval” on the Monzo app, but really, it’s just a regular payment that they trick you into authorising by pressing the ‘approve’ button. Stay safe and don’t trust these calls!
