Got a call from someone saying they were from EE offering a discount on my bill. But when I asked them for my name or details about my contract, they couldn’t answer. Felt really dodgy to me.

Sounds like you're probably involved with them yourself! It’s definitely a scam because unlike the real company, they don’t bother verifying who’s on the other end!

So this number called me claiming to be from EE. At first, I was pretty sceptical and didn’t think it was real. But then I decided to go along with the offer they made. Turns out, they were genuine and everything they promised actually happened. I’m really happy with the deal they gave me. In fact, I ended up getting two lines - one for myself and one for my partner.

Got a call from someone saying there was a payment issue with my EE account. Rang EE myself and they said it wasn’t from their side at all! Definitely a dodgy call.

Just got a ring from this number and my phone's security app flagged it straight away as a spam caller. Didn't pick up and just blocked it. Cheers to everyone who’s shared their warnings about this number recently. But honestly, I’m baffled how they even got hold of my digits when I’m signed up with the Telephone Preference Service?

Got a call from someone claiming to be with EE, asking for my security details. The accent was really hard to get, sounded Indian. Felt fishy straight away, so I just ended the call and blocked the number. Definitely dodgy.

Got a call from an Asian lady claiming she was from EE wanting to talk about upgrading my contract. Thing is, I’m not even with EE. When I asked how she got my number, she just ended the call straight away.

Got conned by this number claiming to be from EE. They told me about some amazing deal on iPhones and then asked for my EE account password. Next thing I know, they've gone ahead and purchased two iPhones using my account. Proper dodgy!

WATCH OUT! TOTAL SCAM! Got a call from a lady with a thick accent claiming to be from EE, telling me I could get a phone upgrade. I ended up paying £50 for a "next day" delivery. But here’s the catch - they mailed me the wrong phone and then asked me to send it back to some address in Birmingham. They said as an apology, I’d get two months free service. Turns out, you’re actually starting a new EE account in your name, and the phone you send back? It’s going straight to the scammers. Don’t fall for it!

WATCH OUT! Got a call from a woman with a really thick Asian accent claiming she was from EE, saying I qualified for an upgrade. I ended up paying £50 upfront to get a phone delivered the next day. The catch? They sent me the wrong handset and asked me to return it to some address in Birmingham. Then, as a 'compensation' for the mix-up, they promised two months free service. In reality, you're just paying to start a new EE account under your name and sending the phone straight to the scammers. Total rip-off!

This person tried to sell a car that they clearly don't actually own, and it's totally not for sale. They were using made-up websites and email accounts along with bogus profiles to trick people. Really dodgy stuff.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with O2, saying I could get a better deal on my contract plus a nice discount. Thing is, I don't even use O2, so I quickly figured it must be a scam. Definitely sounded dodgy to me.
