BEWARE OF SCAM PROBABLY - got a couple of calls from some people speaking in a language I couldn’t understand, trying to sell me EE home broadband for £20 a month. When I asked about the speed I could get at my place, they couldn’t give me any clear answer. Felt dodgy so didn’t believe they were real EE staff.

Got loads of calls from some Indian call centre telling me about a 40% discount on an EE upgrade. They wouldn’t stop ringing me!

Got a call earlier today from someone who didn’t sound like English was their first language. They said I could get a 40% discount to upgrade my EE phone. Then they started asking if I had an iPhone or a Samsung. I told them surely if they were from EE, they’d already know my phone and tariff. They said they weren’t logged into my account. I didn’t see the point in the call if that was the case and asked why they even bothered then. The caller got annoyed with me faster than I did with him ‘cause I wasn’t giving him info but he wouldn’t answer my questions either. Didn’t even ask for part of my password or anything, which made it feel even fishier. Honestly, anyone who falls for this deserves to be warned!

Got a call off someone saying they were from EE about me being able to get an early upgrade. I told them my contract already lets me upgrade whenever I want, so if they were legit EE, they'd have known that. Right after that, the caller just cut off. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

Someone with a bit of an accent called me up saying there was a special deal to upgrade my EE account. I told them I don’t actually have an EE account, and then they started asking who my mobile network was with. I just ended the call there.
