I received a call from someone claiming to be Jakob, supposedly working for the Barclays Fraud Department. He mentioned some suspicious transactions on my bank account. This bloke wanted to verify my recent payment, so he asked for my banking information, insisting it was necessary to confirm my identity. It absolutely reeked of phishing!

Today around half past four I got a call from someone using this number. The bloke said his name was Alan McDermot and he claimed to be from the Barclays Fraud Department. He told me there was some dodgy activity on my card.
