My poor mum has fallen victim to a scam and lost £410 to these con artists. Someone by the name of Alex White was on the other end of the phone. To make matters worse, the email linked to this deceitful scheme was sent from [email protected], claiming to be part of "Inspiring Infotech" purportedly located in Uttar Pradesh. What a dreadful experience!

Scammers employing ransomware tactics are on the loose. They’ll lock your computer up tight and then demand an outrageous £170 to release it, supposedly covering you for five years! Don't be taken in by their tricks; they thrive on fear and are desperate enough to breach your online banking nuances. Claiming to represent Microsoft, they are nothing of the sort. They go by names like Get and Go Pro, or simply Go Pro. It’s essential to steer clear of these con artists! Be vigilant!

I received a rather alarming message on my computer claiming that I had been hacked, instructing me to call 'Microsoft' using a particular number. The person on the line insisted that I needed to purchase special software to remove hackers from my IP address. They warned me that these supposed hackers could infiltrate my online banking without this software. After gaining remote access to my computer, they proceeded to demand £100 for this so-called software to fix the problem. Upon reading this informative post, I promptly powered down my computer. Are these individuals also fraudulent?

I've had persistent calls from this number, claiming they’re from Microsoft support and insisting I grant them access to my computer. I reached out to Microsoft's 24-hour helpline, and they confirmed it's a complete scam. One of the so-called representatives gave the name Jim Orbit, and he definitely had an Irish accent. They’ve also been ringing from the number 0800 090 3226. Whatever you do, don’t let them in your computer! And never share your bank information. The Microsoft support team mentioned that these scammers have swindled people out of amounts ranging from £200 to £300 at a time. Stay alert!

Beware of this particular number; it's linked to a fraudulent scheme. Victims often find a pop-up on their computer claiming that their device is compromised. This alarming message prompts them to dial this number for assistance. Once the unsuspecting individual makes the call, the scammers cleverly use remote access tools like LogMeIn to gain control of the victim's computer, all while the person is blissfully unaware of the deceit. Subsequently, they proceed to introduce additional malware onto the system and then extort a hefty fee of £225 via credit card for supposed removal services. It's a classic case of exploitation, so best to steer clear!
