Got a call about insurance for my household stuff but then they asked for my bank info before sending anything over... told him to jog on. Then I got another ring from a different number (01476 589620), so I gave him a proper whistle straight down the line. Pretty sure that’s the last I’ll hear from them now.

Got a call from some random number that’s using my old number from the phone book, chatting total rubbish about insurance for home appliances. It’s such a pain, just wasting my time and making me feel all anxious and uneasy. Absolutely shocking behaviour. I’m definitely going to report it to BT and the fraud team.

They rang me earlier today about appliances I already insure with D&G, said they’d send some new paperwork. But then they tried asking for my direct debit info and my sort code. I wasn’t having any of it, so I just told them no and hung up straight away.
