They keep ringing me up all the time, saying they're from Santander. I told them I was a bit stressed about my bank as I'd just ordered a pizza that never showed, and wanted to check if they’d taken the money. They asked for my account number and sort code, but I said, "You called me, surely you know who you’re ringing?" Then they just hung up. Now, I call them back about ten times a day asking where my pizza is!

This is definitely NOT Santander calling. I rang the number on the back of my card and asked if Santander had been trying to contact me. The operator double-checked with their security team and said they weren’t trying to reach me. I’m planning to ring this number tomorrow using my free internet line and have a bit of fun messing with the bloke. I reckon others should do the same until he gives up.

This is a scam, it’s definitely not Santander trying to reach you. They’re after your bank details. If you’re worried, just ring the number on the back of your card instead.

Santander - definitely worth giving them a call. Because I lost my job, my account ended up £60 in the red. When I told them what was going on, they reviewed my account and put back all the fees, leaving me with £170 credit. It was a lifesaver as I could afford fuel for job interviews! They really do try to help, so don’t hesitate to ring them back - you might be surprised and get some money back like I did today.

Been getting nonstop automated calls on our home phone asking for someone we've never heard of. We rang SANTANDER ourselves to sort it out, but the customer service person seemed clueless and said they couldn't ring us back with any updates since they only handle incoming calls, really frustrating. I can assure you, this is not a legitimate Santander number. I reached out to them directly, and they explicitly stated that this phone number is not affiliated with their company at all. It’s undoubtedly a scam!
