Received a call supposedly from Santander, but they addressed me by a name that isn't familiar and I actually don’t hold an account with them. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

had a voicemail from this number earlier, they claimed to be from the fraud team at santander. missed the call but the message was pretty clear about it.

Today I got a call from a lady who said she was ringing from Santander. She left me a voicemail, mentioning she was from my local Santander branch and said it was just a polite check-in. She asked me to either visit the branch or call back on the number she gave. Honestly, it sounded pretty genuine and I reckon a lot of folks might get tricked by it.
