As I'm ex-directory and registered with the Telephone Preference Service, it's perplexing how they continue to harass me despite having no prior association with their company. It seems they are blatantly ignoring the laws around unsolicited calls!

They even mentioned a landline number for me to ring back, but I decided against it. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

I received a call from a company named Savanta, conducting a survey regarding my spouse’s bank. Interestingly, the same number is linked to another firm called Motif, which also seems to be involved in market research, indicated by the initials MO.

I can't tell you who it was. The phone rang once, but by the time I got to it, it had stopped. To be honest, I hardly ever pick up calls unless I'm familiar with the number. No voicemail was left either. After reading some of the comments on here, I feel rather relieved that I let it be.

I just got a phone call purporting to be from "Servanta", supposedly representing Scottish Widows, in relation to a recent interaction I supposedly had with them. The thing is, I haven't had any recent dealings with Scottish Widows at all. Very peculiar!

I didn’t pick up since I didn’t recognise the number. Interestingly, the call came shortly after I received two substantial transfers into my Halifax account from a well-regarded investment firm. Quite the coincidence, wouldn’t you say?

Yet another survey scam! I've decided to block this number.

The person on the line mentioned they were calling regarding some feedback. However, despite asking for the company's name three separate times, I still couldn’t quite make it out. They repeated it, but it just didn't register with me.

Likely a scam artist at work here - they had the name of my bank down pat, but totally messed up the business name and wanted to chat with the 'person in charge'. You'd think if they were legit and really from my bank, they'd know who actually runs it! There was a noticeable lag on the line too, which hints at VOIP technology being used on a fake number, adding to the suspicion that it was a call from far-off lands. The caller's accent was a bit dodgy as well—sounded like they were trying to put on an English twang without being from the UK at all!

He asked me to verify my identity before he could divulge the name of the organisation, stating he needed to ensure security first. He mentioned that he was seeking my thoughts on their services. However, I opted not to share any details, and we eventually wrapped up the conversation.
