TOTALLY DISGRACEFUL. Got a ring from this number supposed to be from Citizens Advice Bureau, and when I tried to say I was busy and asked to be removed from their call list, the bloke started shouting, accusing me of being rude and making up excuses. I received a rather peculiar phone call today from an individual whose name was completely unintelligible! When I pressed him for clarification on his identity, he claimed to be representing my late Father. Quite the theatrical twist, considering my Father has been gone for ages now! It's best to just block this number and move on, as it appears that the powers that be have little ability to curtail these bothersome calls.

Really strange bloke, kept ringing me up all cold and sounded a bit dodgy like one of those scam calls. Was on speaker so couldn’t properly hear what he was on about.

I received a call from a bloke claiming that I have an outstanding balance on my car insurance. I’m quite puzzled as to how they obtained my number, but I reckon it’s best to blacklist this one.

I picked up and asked why he was ringing, and he just told me to “f--k off b--ch” before hanging up. I ended up blocking the number straight away.

Was this really some sort of scammy cold call? The bloke sounded pretty sketchy and kept harassing me. I had it on loudspeaker, so couldn’t quite catch all he was trying to say. Weird experience!

Got a ring from this number earlier. Some bloke with an Indian accent going on about some credit debt I supposedly owe. I haven’t borrowed a penny in decades, so yeah, no debts here. I warned him I’d track him down and give him a proper piece of my mind. He just hung up straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming to be looking into an issue, sounded like one of them cold calls from India. I asked if she was with the police, and she just cut me off straight away. So I blocked the number.

Got a phone call claiming to be from Citizens Advice but it was definitely a cold caller. Pretty sure they don’t make random calls since their job is to support people, not hassle them.

Got a call from 07938536820, some bloke saying he was from debt help. When I asked where he got my details from, he just hung up on me! Sounded like he had an Indian accent or somewhere nearby. Honestly, be careful with this one, it’s definitely a scam. I’m not in any debt, so I knew right away it was dodgy.

When my phone showed it was a number known for scams, I decided not to pick up. Fingers crossed they ring again so I can have a bit of fun and keep them hanging!

I picked up the phone thinking it was just a normal UK mobile number. Then this bloke starts talking, sounding like he’s from the States or Canada, saying he’s from some federal agency. He spoke really sloooowly, almost like he wanted me on the line for ages, which made me suspect I’d end up paying through the nose for the call. The moment he dropped the "federal agency" line, I just cut him off and blocked that number straight away.

I got a call from 07938536820, an unknown number. I picked up and switched my phone to speaker but said nothing. The other end stayed quiet too, no message or anything, then they just hung up. Normally, I just keep quiet on these mystery calls, let them waste their time and cash with their scams. After seeing what everyone’s saying here though, I’m definitely blocking this one.

Just as I was picking up, the call got cut off. Sounds like they might have a quota for calls every hour or something. Decided to look up the number and guess what? Found this site with loads of info. Funny how that worked out!

someone called pretending to be from citizens advice, telling me i owed some money. when i told them i didn’t, they then asked if i had any life insurance. seemed dodgy to me.

So this person rings me up talking about some unsecured debts and I tell them I’ve got none. Then, out of nowhere, they start hurling racist abuse at me, calling me all sorts of awful names and telling me to get lost. And the funny thing? I’m actually white! Proper weird experience, lol.

I keep gettin calls about 7 in the evenin from various numbers, but it's always the same rubbish. I just ignore em and then block straight away.
