This bloke rings me up daily, always twice back to back. I never pick up tho. Ive got this gadget that records calls from mobiles and its sat on the table waiting to be turned on whenever he calls again. I’m thinking of gathering all these daft callers from the UK who pretend to be from big fancy offices like "debt dept" and then share them on social media for a laugh.

Got a scam call claiming my debts were moved over and they had some 'great deal' to sort it out. I only managed to chat for about 10 minutes before cutting them off.

So got a call today asking for Amy, right? I tried telling them I’m a guy, but didn’t seem to faze them. Kept asking who she was and where she was calling from, sounded like India or somewhere near there. She kept going on about “can I confirm my name” like a broken record. Then she started rushing me to say it quick, saying she was short on time. Well, guess what? So was I! Ended the call there and then, complete muppets. Just wanted to have a bit of fun messing about with her while I was waiting between meetings. Proper cheeky!

Got a missed call notification from this number - after checking the comments, it’s just like some calls I’ve had before. I usually keep them talking for ages when I pick up but ended up missing this one. ANYWAY, I’VE SENT A TEXT TO 7726 MARKING IT AS A SCAM LIKE THEY RECOMMENDED! I’M DEFINITELY DOING THIS FOR ALL SIMILAR CALLS FROM NOW ON.

They claimed to be carrying out some kind of welfare survey. Asked if I was satisfied with my services. Hung up as soon as I told them I had no clue what they meant. At least they were polite.

Really wished I hadn’t answered that call! The bloke claimed he was from the Human Welfare Department in Manchester but wouldn’t give any more details. Said he was doing a survey. Sounded fishy to me - I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Got a call from 07938 536750, they claimed to be from Citizens Advice about some debt I supposedly owe. It was a bloke with a Pakistani accent. He said he was ringing from my local branch, but when I told him it had shut down ages ago, he just hung up straight away.

I got a call from someone claiming to be a debt collector. As soon as I told them I don’t owe anything and asked if scamming honest folks was their hobby, they just ended the call.

Somebody called me saying they were from a credit investigation, but when I asked who they were, they never bothered to check my info first. After I told them they’d got the wrong number, they claimed I’d agreed when they asked if they were speaking to the right person. Since that wasn’t my name, there was no way I'd say yes! I just wanted to find out why they kept bothering me when they clearly had the wrong number. Eventually, I just ended the call.

Shady so-called debt management people who already seem to have loads of your personal info. Don’t just block them cos they’ll probably share your number with dodgy criminal groups! Do somethin about it - report them straight to ACTION FRAUD at 0300 123 2040 or check their website. We need these nasty scammers caught and punished!

Total scam! Got a call from some Indian bloke claiming to be from a debt investigation team. They’re clueless cause legit companies don’t ring from mobiles, obvious stuff. I had a laugh and told her I owed a million quid! Then she just hung up outta nowhere, quite funny really.
