Someone rang me pretending to be from debt advice. I said I wasn’t interested and ended the call. They phoned straight back and then had the cheek to call me "the most stupid person he’s ever met" lol. Let’s just say I told him what I really thought and then blocked the number.

Got a call from someone saying they were with the Credit Investigation team, telling me I have a debt. I quickly told them I don’t owe anything to anyone and ended the call. The guy had a really sharp, loud voice. Good to see other people’s posts about this, I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number too.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from a credit investigation team about some unpaid debts. Told them I owed nothing and they quickly switched to trying to sell me life insurance. Wouldn't say how they had my info. It was a blocked number, I’ve blocked them back. Would suggest you do the same.

Got a call from some debt collector, I asked where they got my info from and they said "THE FINANCIAL SERVICE". Told her that’s against data protection laws, then she started swearing at me! Talked a load of rubbish. Tried calling back but the number wouldn’t connect. Honestly, these scammers are dangerous. Be super careful, total bloody wankers!

This is the second time ive had a call saying its from Citizens Advice about my debts. When I asked where they got my number, they started going on about an IVA and some Government agency. I told them I actually work at Citizens Advice and we dont cold call about debts. They quickly ended the call. Total SCAMMERS.

I just got a call from these lot, kept going on about debt and stuff. Then they switched to asking about life insurance. I told 'em I’m alright, thanks. They kept asking who I was with, about five times, and I gave the same answer each time - I’m fine, cheers mate. When I asked who they were again, they said they’d find out on Sunday. I just said no worries, see you Sunday. Then suddenly they rattled off my full name and an address I know, saying see you then. Honestly, no idea who it was or where they’re from, but it really didn’t sit right with me at all.

Got a call around an hour ago from someone claiming to be with credit investigations. The guy had a really thick Asian accent. When I asked how I could assist, he just told me to “f##k off” and then ended the call. Proper irritating.

A man with a strong Indian or South Asian accent rang me, claimed he was from the citizens advice bureau about my debts. He even knew my name, but then he started asking how much debt I had. If he was legit - which he wasn’t - he’d already know there’s none. I’ve owned my house outright for over 20 years, paid for my car in cash, no loans. I consistently have money left each month. When I told him he should already know I’m debt-free and that I was on the TPS list, he quickly ended the call, clearly not from the CAB.

these taxi scam people are seriously risky, they’re trying to get into your bank info! you can just ignore and block them if you like, but keep in mind they already have most of your ID and can easily create new phone numbers or even share your details with other crooks. or, you could take action - report them to action fraud by calling 0300 123 2040 or visit their site for instructions. the more people report this number, the faster these nasty scammers will be caught and put behind bars. you know what needs to be done.
