Phone number ☎️ 07860020931 👆 is reported as a primarily genuine NHS appointment reminder and confirmation service used across multiple hospitals in the South East of England. While many recipients confirm its authenticity, there are frequent reports of mistaken or unsolicited messages, causing confusion for those without scheduled appointments. Some calls and texts appear linked to legitimate NHS departments, including vaccination centres, but caution is advised due to instances of scam attempts mimicking NHS communications, particularly involving appointment confirmations or requests for personal information via suspicious links. Users are urged to verify appointment details directly with their local NHS provider before responding and to be wary of unexpected messages requesting replies to unknown numbers or access to external websites.

I called the National Health Service using the number they gave me. I was super cautious and made sure not to share any bank details, card info, or pins. They never asked for any of that stuff anyway, so I’m pretty sure it was the real deal.

I got a text telling me I had a Patient Portal digital letter and needed to quote a PIN to read it. Since it wasn’t sent through the NHS app, it felt a bit dodgy. I’ve deleted it for now as I can’t be sure it’s legit, but I’ll ring up the hospital to double check.

I've just received a rather concerning message that reads: "This is an invitation to access the Patient Portal from the MRI Department at East Kent Hospitals NHS Trust. You can log in using this link with your PIN 2929 and your date of birth on any of your devices - smartphone, tablet, laptop or PC. Thank you http://nhsportal.net/PDf7P2." Upon interpreting the contents of this message, I'm left with the uneasy impression that my NHS data may have been compromised and ended up in the hands of fraudsters. Not long ago, I had a disagreement with a third-party service provider connected to the NHS. I made it clear I no longer wished to use their services, and they were rather displeased about it.

I just received a rather dubious message supposedly from the hospital, stating they’ve got an imaging request and it might need to be carried out at a different location. However, there was a complete lack of details regarding this new site, and I certainly have no appointments on the horizon. To top it off, the hospital doesn’t even have my mobile number! This screams scam to me, no doubt about it.

Greetings, We’ve got a little note for you regarding your upcoming imaging appointment. To ensure we can accommodate you as swiftly as possible, we’re offering some services at different sites. Consequently, there’s a chance you might be directed to an alternative venue for your appointment. It’s essential that you do make it to these locations if they’re suggested to you. At present, we’re facing extended waiting periods for appointments at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, and we unfortunately cannot promise when we’d be able to reschedule your appointment should you be unable to visit an alternative location. Thank you for your understanding. Best, CUH Imaging Department

It’s quite possible this number is indeed linked to the NHS, but that doesn’t mean it’s not being used for unsolicited contact. They're likely after a response or a click from you. If you’re not anticipating any appointments, don’t be fooled-it's probably a cunning scam attempt.

I got a message from this number saying my husband’s hospital appointment was cancelled and that the doctor would do a phone consultation instead. Since this was a crucial appointment with tests that only happen at the hospital, I called the department to check and they told me the message was probably sent by accident. They said any proper cancellation would come by letter. Also, I don’t live anywhere near the areas linked to this number, so I’m worried it might be a scam. Cancelling vital medical appointments like this could be really dangerous for those who are seriously ill.

I got a text from this number stating they'd struggled to get in touch with me regarding scheduling my appointment for surgery. They requested that I reply with a YES if I still wanted the appointment or a NO if I didn’t. If I don’t respond within a fortnight, they’ll send me back to my GP. This was the second message I’ve received; the first one didn’t provide any way to get back to them. I find it a bit odd that they can send me a text, yet they haven't picked up the phone to call me.

Got a text saying to confirm my NHS appointment by replying YES to a different number. Honestly, felt a bit iffy about it - not difficult to fake a sender number these days, so not sure if it’s some sort of scam. I’ve got premium texts blocked on my phone and when I tried to reply YES, the message didn’t send, so I’m guessing I’d have been hit with a charge if it had gone through.

I just got a rather peculiar text from this number, but the thing is I haven't got the foggiest where Rainbow Centre is, nor do I recall making any appointments there! Seems like a classic case of mistaken identity, if you ask me. The message read: "We’re looking forward to your visit at Rainbow Centre on 09/05/16 at 12:30. Failing to show up costs the NHS around £100. If you no longer need this appointment, reply with CANCEL 5429; to reschedule, send REBOOK 5429." It's definitely not for me, that’s for sure!

The message doesn't specify which St. Peter's it refers to, and frankly, I’m no mood for any dodgy dealings.
