Got a call from 04829217566 this morning around 8:30, as usual some kind of scam. Picked up but didn’t say a word, and there was no sound on the other end. They just hung up after about 3 seconds. Typical early morning nuisance.

I got a call from 04818793497, and it was one of those automated messages saying all agents were tied up and to drop your name and number. Quite annoying, really.

Got two calls from 048726058277 on the evening of 24th October 2020 around 8.30pm. They were silent and just ended the call without saying a thing or leaving a voicemail.

On the 24th of October 2020, I got two calls from 048726058277 around 8.30pm. When I answered, there was just silence and then they just ended the call. No voicemail or any message left.

On the 6th of October 2020 at around 1:05pm, 04850658172 rang me but I missed the call.

I just got a call from 04809914448, some recorded message about unusual activity on my internet and that it’d get cut off if I didn’t get in touch. It told me to press 3 to call back. Turns out it’s a scam, coming all the way from India, trying to trick you into calling a pricey international number. Watch out for this!

Yesterday I messaged my mate who lives in the Republic from up north in Ireland. She did get the texts but on her phone the sender showed up with a 048 number, which I found a bit odd. Strangely enough, I never saw the replies she tried to send me. Can anyone shed some light on what's going on here?

They just went quiet and then ended the call, didn’t leave any message or anything.
