Got a call just like before, this guy said he was from the NatWest fraud team, telling me there were 2 dodgy transactions on my debit card. He wanted to know my account balances and then asked for my debit card number. I told him if he really worked for NatWest, why would he need that info? I've been in financial services for over three decades, and no legit bank rep would ever ask for that stuff. As soon as I questioned him, he just cut the call!

Got a call from this number 03457888448 claiming to be from Natwest about some fraud issue. Felt a bit fishy, so I looked it up online and ended up on this site. Definitely seems like a bit of a scam.

Got a call from 0345 788 8445 claiming to be NatWest, and they were really pushy. They kept saying my name wrong, so I ended up kindly correcting them.

On 12th December 2020, I got a call from 03457888445 claiming to be NatWest about a couple of pending charges on my card. The caller said the payments came from somewhere in Coventry and sounded really legit, but it turned out to be a total scam. They even had the last 4 digits of my card and account number, which was a bit worrying. Luckily, the card had already been cancelled weeks before, so no harm done. Just a heads up - don’t trust these numbers and definitely don’t give out any info!

10/06/2020 So yesterday I got a call from some scammer who claimed they were from the NatWest Fraud dept, telling me there were 2 dodgy DDs happening and tried to get my bank login and pin. Thankfully I’d seen this site before so I didn’t fall for it and they ended the call. Make sure you’re careful and never share your info. I immediately blocked my online banking and sorted a new card.

Some scammer called claiming to be from Natwest, wanted me to move money into my partner’s account. I just cut the call and blocked them straight away. Remember, banks don’t ring you up asking for your personal info!

This person said they were from Natwest Business Banking, which made me a bit wary, especially when they started asking about my personal accounts and said I needed to use my card reader. I ended the call and rang Natwest myself to check. Turns out, it was definitely a scam.

I got a call on my NatWest number and ended up getting scammed, lost some cash because of it. Proper annoying. I wouldn’t pick up if I were you. I’ve gone and blocked all NatWest numbers and the ones like it. NatWest said they’ll email me so I can ring them properly. Absolutely not dealing with these lot again.

Best advice, just hang up. These folks aren’t from NatWest at all - we got tricked and lost some cash to them. Truly horrible people, the absolute worst. They’re nothing but scammers.

Someone phoned me saying they were from NatWest, saying my account had been compromised. They actually knew my name and gave me the last four numbers of my card and account, which was a bit creepy. Then they started asking for my full sort code and account number, telling me there had been four failed transactions and something about a duplicate card. I just said no way, and told them I’d ring NatWest myself to sort it out.

Got a call from this number saying it was Natwest, but something felt off so I ended the call straight away and phoned Natwest directly. They told me they hadn’t made any calls, so it was obviously a scam. The dodgy number looked a lot like the bank’s actual number, and the scammer tried to pass it off as a part of the bank’s extension. Don’t buy it. If you’re ever doubtful, just hang up and call the bank yourself to make sure everything’s alright with your account.
