I got one of those recorded calls about tax evasion from the “Inland Revenue” or something, telling me to press one or I’d be arrested soon. It’s clearly fake and just some scammers trying their luck. Most people would see through it easily, but I guess it’s the elderly or less tech-savvy who might end up giving away their bank info. Really dodgy stuff.
