Got a call from someone saying they were from my energy company, asking if I wanted to renew my contract. Seemed fishy, like a sales trick. Didn't give them any details and hung up pretty quick. Definitely a dodgy call pretending to be legit. Watch out for these sneaky ones!

I got a message that didn’t actually say who was calling, but it mentioned a warrant out for someone linked to my number and said I’d be getting arrested soon. It definitely sounded like it was some kind of automated recording.

The call claimed to be from the tax authorities, saying it was connected to a fraud case. It was just a voicemail, so I hung up straight away. I’ve heard about these sorts of scams pretending to be official tax office calls, so I didn’t fall for it. Still, I worry that older folks who get nervous might end up believing it!

Got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC about some income tax fraud and threatening arrest. That’s laughable since I earn way less than the tax limit, plus HMRC keeps refunding me. They told me to press 1 to deal with it, but no chance. I flat out told them to go ahead and arrest me.
