Got a message from this number saying it was Talk Talk, telling me my phone plan had expired and asking me to call 0345 172 0044. Checked my online account just to be sure and it turned out to be fake. Definitely a scam, so don’t bother calling or replying to them.

We got billed for calling this number two times back in July 2019. Thing is, we dont even have a landline, so it def wasnt us making those calls.

I’ve blocked this number already, but it still tried ringing me on 8/5 (two times), 9/5 (thrice), 14/5 (three calls again), 23/5, 24/5, 28/5 (twice), 29/5, 30/5, and 1/6. Either they’ve taken the hint, or they’re using a different number to bother me now.

Got a call today, 5th June around 9:20, from a woman with an Indian accent saying she was from TalkTalk. She said there was some issue with my router and computer for the last 3 days - complete rubbish. Honestly, companies like TalkTalk really need to team up and put an end to these scams properly. Got a call from someone saying he was William from BT or Openreach, asking if my internet was running slow. I suspected it was a scam so I just said no. He asked a few more questions, and I kept saying no. Then he wanted to know how many people lived here, and I told him I didn’t want to answer that. He then called me a “stupid c##t” and ended the call. Pretty rude for no reason!

This call was such a hassle, really robotic and the line kept cutting out. They kept pushing me to start up my computer, then suddenly said they were from BT (which isn’t my provider). I told them it sounded dodgy, but they insisted it wasn’t and asked me again to turn on the PC to send a new router, claiming it’d be identical to the one I already have. I explained the computer wouldn’t switch on straight away and I couldn’t remember the password, and then they just hung up on me. That was the fourth call from these lot today!

When I asked “how can I be sure you’re really who you say you are?” I heard a man talking in the background giving directions or something.
