Got a text from Talk Talk for my niece about her overdue bill, it had a number to pay. I looked it up and you’re meant to call that number to make payments, but they wouldn’t be sending texts or calling you from that number!

Ever since I got a text saying I’d missed some broadband payments, my internet’s been down. Felt a bit dodgy, so I had a look here and this site just confirmed what I was thinking.

I got a letter saying I need to pay £207.78, but they first texted me about this debt. The weird thing is, I never even signed up with Tall Talk or anything, so I’m not sure where this is coming from.

Just got an email sent to my dad saying his direct debit payment didn’t go through. Thing is, he never had a Talk Talk account and never will. Plus, he passed away over six years ago and hasn’t had a bank account for ages. So yeah, bit of a weird one to say the least!

I ended up getting scammed, they took control of my ID and I can’t get hold of TalkTalk at all. The scammers somehow manage to access TT remotely, which feels really risky. They’re super slick, seems like they’ve got TalkTalk and other networks like EE and Vodafone well covered. This has been going on for ages. It’s hard to find the right phone numbers to call. Make sure you track any suspicious activity in the background and double-check who’s calling you. Seriously, watch out!

I’ve received attempts to charge me for something I’m not even associated with TalkTalk! Quite baffling, to say the least.

On Monday, 1st July, I got an email from them explaining they’re switching the company handling their recurring card payments. They said it’s gonna take about two months to set up the new provider. Because of this, they won’t be able to process any regular card payments through July and August. But the email also mentioned there are other safe and easy options available to pay your bills.

Today I received an email supposedly from them saying they're switching the company that handles card payments and told me to ring 03451720040 to arrange a direct debit. I’ve never paid my TalkTalk bills with a card, always used direct debit for over 20 years. Feels dodgy to me, pretty sure it’s a scam.

They’ve gone and cut off our Wi-Fi access!

I received an email from TalkTalk claiming I've not settled my bill, directing me to call 0345 1720040, but I've already made the payment. They mentioned that if I escalate the matter, it may take up to a week to resolve. How frustrating!

I recently had a rather dodgy phone call where the bloke on the other end insisted he was from Talk Talk. He brazenly warned me that my internet service was in peril and could be cut off in a day due to some so-called fraudulent activities. It was clearly a ruse!

Just got a text supposedly from TalkTalk saying I hadn’t paid my bill and needed to sort it ASAP to stop my service being cut off. I checked on the TalkTalk website and ended up paying my usual amount, but now it turns out I’m actually in credit. Proper shady if you ask me.

Got a robo call saying my broadband was going to be cut off soon. They told me to press a number to chat with someone who’d tell me what to do to keep it on. I just ended the call straight away.

I got a call from someone claiming to be from TalkTalk but it was a complete scam. They actually had another number too, 03451720029. Be careful and don’t give them any personal info!

Some bloke rang claiming to be from BT, said he had to find out what kind of tech I was using for my internet so he could stop hackers getting in. They even provided a number for me to ring to "verify" it was legit. I nearly fell for it, and asked why Sky or Virgin hadn’t done anything similar or mentioned it anywhere. That’s when he lost it, going on about how he was gonna block my internet permanently if I didn’t cooperate. Proper dodgy.
