Rang back 0333 556 5565 and got the phone slammed down on me. Definitely a scam, blocked the number straight away!

This debt recovery firm keeps ringing me with an automated message like two or three times a week for over a year now. They want me to ring back, but the name and company they mention are totally unfamiliar and have no connection to me. I did try calling once from a different phone to sort things out, but they refused to take me off their list or stop bothering me.

I keep receiving calls requesting a specific individual who isn't even residing at this address. They prompt me to press 0 if I know the person or 2 if I don't. I've just let the call end without hitting any buttons yet again. This marks the fourth consecutive day of this nonsense!

Put a stop to this number, got a recorded voice saying they’ve taken stuff from a family member and you gotta pay by card before they'll return anything. Some proper nasty people around at the moment, be careful.

Lowell debt collectors keep ringing me about debts I don’t owe to e-on and Sky. They took over £100 from my bank even tho I’d already paid to end my contracts and sent back the stuff. Blocking one number doesn’t help, they just call from different 0333 numbers instead. I’ve got about 8 of their numbers blocked so far, all from Lowell.

They keep ringing, texting and leaving loads of messages but it’s for a different person! I’ve just had enough and blocked the number now.

Lowells are proper annoying. They snap up debts for next to nothing and then try to pressure you into paying up. Just tell them to get lost. According to the bill of exchange act, the original debt is cleared. You’ve no deal with them, so they can’t drag you to court.
