I got two calls from this number yesterday but didn’t answer. Today it rang me again, I ignored it once more but then I decided to ring back. Turns out it was just some automated homepage message. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Just received a letter claiming to be from "Three" with my full name, address, and details about my phone contract. It said I was late on a payment and if I don’t pay by the deadline, I’ll owe triple the original amount. The number they gave to call was “0333 338 1031,” but I checked the official Three site and that number isn’t listed anywhere. BEWARE, this is definitely a scam!

They keep ringing me but never say anything on the voicemail. I did get through once and the bloke claimed he was from Three, but he seemed really dodgy, like I couldn’t trust him at all. I’m not buying it so I’ve just blocked the number now.

I can confirm this number is definitely dodgy and a scam. Three have verified it’s not theirs, so don’t share any personal info or anything like that. If you do, they might end up with your bank info. Honestly, Three would never ring you from this number if they had a real reason. These people are faking the Three name to trick you into thinking it’s legit. If you answer a call from it, just hang up straight away. Never give out your bank details or card numbers, and don’t confirm any info with them. Stay safe!

Kept getting loads of calls about some phone bill I apparently owe.

i get calls from this number all the time, usually when i’m trying to sleep or at school. i pick up and before i can even say anything, they just hang up straight away without saying a word or leaving a message. it’s really annoying!

I got a call from someone claiming they were from Three network, but it was a total scam. They’re definitely not with Three, just trying to fool people.

Warning, this is a total scam. They pose as Three network via email and texts claiming your bill is late. These messages come regularly and look pretty real if you’re not suspicious. Luckily, I checked all my genuine emails and texts from Three, and these fakes don’t line up at all. Stay alert!

My partner just received a letter from 3 network claiming he owes £122.13, but he’s never had any account with them. I looked up the number 03333381031 and it's clearly a scam. Please don’t send these horrible people any cash. Honestly, get a real job! Hope nobody ends up getting tricked by this rubbish ☹️

Kept ringing my phone loads of times but no message left. I could hear what sounded like a call centre with people speaking a foreign language. Definitely stay clear!

They keep calling saying I owe £3 or something, but I always pay by direct debit so there’s no way I owe anything!

Don’t get tricked by this, it’s definitely not from 3network. They wouldn’t ring you from a 0333 number, nor would they send emails from a personal account. Be careful!

They won’t stop ringing my phone!

I got an email claiming I owed £32 on my 3 mobile bill. Since I pay everything through direct debit, I found it a bit fishy. The email included a phone number to call and clear the supposed balance, and honestly, it seemed pretty real.

Received a text supposedly from 3 saying I could ring them back. When I did call, it seemed to be 3 alright, but then the line just disconnected on me.

First it started with texts, then calls, and now I’m even getting letters from them. Definitely a scam, they tried to mess with me.

Even though we don’t live in the country and have never signed up for anything with this firm, suddenly a bill turned up from them. Total rip off if you ask me.

I’ve now got a couple of letters from 3 asking for overdue payments, and today two more came through saying legal steps might follow, along with a default warning leaflet from the Financial Conduct Authority. The thing is, I’ve never been a customer of 3, not even once. I tried emailing 3 to report this fraud, attaching pictures of the letters, but every message bounced back. Feels like 3 are just ignoring it and acting like this identity theft isn’t a big deal. I wonder if the FCA will just brush it off too? Honestly, this seems like something the police should be involved with.

I got a letter from Three claiming I owed them £325.20 because I missed a payment. The weird part is, I’ve never even had a Three account! So I rang the number on the letter to try and figure out what’s going on since they somehow have my address. A woman answered, but I’m pretty sure it’s a scam. The letter asks for payment and tells you to put your account number as a reference, which I don’t have. I’d be careful with this number!

I received a letter claiming I owed money. I rang the number and spoke with a woman who told me it was a scam. The trouble is, Three’s customer service is so awful I’m not sure if she was really from them or just another con artist! Loads of others say this number is genuine though. Given I’ve had big issues with Three charging me twice before, I’m not sure if this letter’s a scam or just their usual mess-up. I suppose I’ll know more if I get something from debt collectors, because Three never make anything clear…

This is a real Three phone number that you can see on bills they send out. They do have call centres in India handling genuine questions. If anything seems off or you suspect the number’s been faked, just end the call straight away.

this is totally a scam, if you call the number from a landline it says the number is not in service, but if you ring it from a mobile it goes through, really odd. ive never had a 3 mobile or any connection with that number.

The letters claim I opened a contract with them and didn’t pay. So pleased I looked up the number on Google as now I feel much calmer. These folks are nasty. I was seriously stressing that someone was trying to open accounts pretending to be me.

I’ve been getting loads of texts from 0333 338 1031 about some contract and unpaid bills, asking me to get in touch. Thing is, I’ve never had a contract with 3 at all! I even rang 3 to check and they said there’s no info on my number or anything. Definitely a scam, watch out!

I got three calls. Always double check by logging in to your account. The issue is scammers faking real company numbers to trick people, so be cautious.

I forgot to add, I got a text from Three - one of those usual updates I’ve had each month for the past couple of years (the ones you can’t reply to). It told me to ring this number and showed the amount I was expecting after changing my contract. So it’s definitely not a scam.

I've called three times. Seems like there are quite a few missed matches. Maybe you still owe money on a previous account?

Got a message from this number, it showed as THREE on my phone. They actually used my name in the text, which freaked me out a bit. They’ve sent me two texts - first one said I owe some money, and the second one said I still haven't sorted the payment. Really annoying and a bit worrying!

I got a letter that looked like it was from 3, saying I should ring a number because someone with that name supposedly owes money. The guy on the phone had an Indian accent and I could barely understand him. Definitely a scam. The number is 0333 338 1031. Avoid it!

Got a letter that looked like it was from Three, telling me to ring a number about someone owing money. The bloke on the phone had a really thick Indian accent and was quite hard to catch what he was saying. Totally a scam. The number was 0333 338 1031.

I didn’t receive a call but got an alert about possible dodgy activity on my bank account after confirming a payment notification. I stopped the payment straight away and now my credit score has taken a hit, even though I’ve never had a Three account or even stepped into a Three store to get one! Got a letter that only mentioned the number involved, started a dispute with the credit agencies but it’s gonna take a while. Luckliy, no money has actually been spent!!

This number came from a verified Three number to help me sort out a final payment on a closed account. I couldn’t complete the payment through the automated system, but then I got transferred to a really helpful customer service rep. I do trust this number since it was sent to me in a series of texts from Three, who I’ve used for years to check when my bills are due. That said, this number has never rung me first - I was the one to call it. If it did ring me unexpectedly, I would be suspicious that the number had been faked or spoofed.

It’s rare for scammers to stick to one fake number for a long time and get tens of thousands of hits like this. This looks like a real 3 number, but scammers might’ve faked it (copied or cloned) to try and scam your bank info. So, don’t trust calls from this number and be super cautious. If you’re unsure, ring 3 back using the number you’ve got saved from your account details.

Got an email from what looked like Three, but the address was off, saying I owed them money since I recently left their service. The email threatened to hand my info to a debt collector. I ended up paying the so-called "debt," but stayed on the call for ages with someone trying to convince me to keep my number and stay with them. Quite fishy!

Got a call from this number on Tuesday 1st June. The person on the other end sounded like they had an accent and told me they were calling from '3'. I told them to quit straight away as no one here is with the 3 network and blocked the number. Since then, they’ve called me three times on Wednesday 2nd, three times again on Thursday 4th, three times on Friday 5th, twice on Saturday 6th, three times Monday 7th and twice already today. Proper nuisance!

I just looked up the number 03333381031 and can say for certain it’s NOT connected to Three. I even rang Three customer service and they told me this isn’t one of their numbers. They also confirmed my account is fine and said they’ve never tried to get in touch. Usually, if Three call, their voicemail says they’ll ring back or tells you to ring 333 from a Three phone. Hopefully this helps others avoid ringing back or dealing with scammers pretending to be from your provider. If you’re unsure, just hang up and contact your provider yourself. Cheers for reading!

In the past week, my phone has rung over twenty times from what claims to be 3 Broadband. The caller, who sounds like he's from India or perhaps Pakistan, keeps asking for a name that means nothing to me. I’ve repeatedly requested them to cease their calls, yet they continue unabated. It's obviously a scam; do take care!

They claimed to be calling from 3 and asked for my date of birth to "verify" my identity. I refused to share it. They said it was something really urgent but wouldn’t say what it was about. Mentioned it had to do with a number ending in xxxx (I can’t recall exactly), but that number definitely wasn’t mine!

Yet another day filled with relentless calls! I've managed to ignore all of them so far. Today, I actually engaged with a woman who sounded Indian and she requested three different passwords to verify my account. Ridiculous, isn't it? I informed her that I don’t even have an account with their company. I wonder if this will put an end to the incessant calls… somehow, I’m not holding my breath!

I can assure you that this is definitely not a fraudulent call. It originates from the 3 mobile network. Not long ago, I purchased a 4G Broadband device from them, which I ended up sending back. I got a call from the number 03333381031, and as I wasn’t acquainted with it, I initially assumed it was a scam, especially since the person on the line wasn’t making much sense. However, I’ve now received an official correspondence concerning my 4G Broadband box, and it clearly states 'Tel. 03333381031' at the top. How bizarre!

This call is definitely NOT a scam. It came from the 3 mobile network. I recently ordered a 4G Broadband device from them but ended up sending it back. When I got a call from 03333381031, I didn’t recognise the number and suspected it might be a scam since the caller sounded all over the place. But later I got a proper letter about the 4G Broadband device, and the number 03333381031 was right there on the letterhead!

03333381031 keeps ringing me saying they’re from 3 Network. My son’s contract was cancelled ages ago, and he aint even with 3 anymore. I already ended my own contract as well. I’m about to block them cause it’s getting proper annoying now.

I really don’t understand why people get all worked up about these random numbers calling. Honestly, there’s just no point. The best thing to do is just ignore calls from numbers you don’t recognise. If they leave a voicemail and you’re not interested, just delete it. It’s not rocket science, you know! Just use a bit of common sense and don’t stress about it.

They keep callin me but I dunno who it is. I looked up the number on Google and it seems like they just wanna bother me. I've already paid all my 3 bills, so why they keep dialling? When I googled the number, if it was legit it would show up clear. I always suggest checking any strange phone numbers on Google. Also, avoid answering calls from hidden numbers if you can, cos I've had similar dodgy calls from them before with no caller ID - perfect for scammers.
