Got a call from this number recently, turns out it was Halifax’s fraud team. They spotted a dodgy charge on my Halifax credit card and blocked it straight away. I got a few texts from Halifax about it too. The call was just them checking if I recognised the transaction, nothing like asking for personal details or anything. Once I said it wasn’t me, they cancelled my card and offered to send a replacement - I agreed and it’s all sorted now. Pretty reassuring really.
