I got a message from my actual bank regarding a payment they had blocked, which I never authorised. While I was on the phone sorting that out, this number rang me. I didn’t answer and let it go to voicemail. After finishing with the bank call, I checked the voicemail. It was an automated message claiming to be from the bank’s fraud team, asking me to press any key to proceed. I just ended the call straight away.

I got a voicemail saying it was Lloyds Bank worried about some dodgy charges on my credit card and telling me to ring back on that number. I do bank with Lloyds, but I wasn’t about to call that number directly. Instead, I rang the official number on the back of my card like a few others here suggested. That connected me straight to their fraud team. Turns out, it really was Lloyds trying to reach me, and everything got cleared up in the end.

Got a message from 07883284879 saying they're Lloyds Bank. They asked if I had made a payment to Kindle Svcs and wanted me to reply yes or no. I said no, then they texted back saying they'd ring me. When they called, my phone flagged it as spam and sent it straight to voicemail. The recorded message told me to ring back on that same number, and they also sent another text with the same request. This isn't really Lloyds Bank - I don't even have the card they mentioned, though they somehow knew the last four digits.

I got a voicemail claiming that my credit card showed some suspicious activity and that I should ring +44 333 045 9535. When I looked up the number online, it turned out it wasn’t actually from Lloyd’s as they said.

I got a call from what looked like Lloyds Bank, but it was definitely a scam. First, I got a text asking if I’d made a payment on my credit card, which I hadn’t, so I replied saying No. Not long after, this number rang me and it was an automated message telling me to ring a 0333 or 0800 number. When I called back, they put me through to someone pretending to be a fraud advisor. Totally dodgy.

Strange thing happened - I got a message on my phone from an unfamiliar number telling me to verify a payment or my card would get blocked. Then, the same number rang me twice, I answered the second call, only to hear a recorded voice. I contacted my bank straight away, gave them the numbers, and they said these aren’t legit and warned me not to respond with any personal details. Watch out for these scams!

Got a robo call from someone saying it was Lloyd’s about some fraud on my card. I didn’t trust it, so I ended the call and dialed the number on the back of my card myself. It was really Lloyd’s after all! They confirmed someone tried to use my card without permission. They’d already stopped the payment and were sending out a replacement card to me. Glad I checked rather than falling for a scam.

I got a message from Lloyds Bank, so I called them back using the number I found online. Turned out it was legit - they flagged some suspicious transactions on my credit card. They’ve already cancelled my card and are sending me a new one. Seems like this number has been used in scams before, so it’s definitely safer to call your bank using a number you know is legit, like from their official website or paperwork.

Got a call from this number right after I got a message from Lloyds warning about suspicious activity on my account. The person on the phone said they’d cancel my card and send a new one out. I called Lloyds myself to check because I saw this number flagged as spam here, but they told me it was actually one of their team and that my card was indeed being replaced according to their records. Fingers crossed everything's legit!

This was actually the real Lloyds Fraud Team ringing me. I didn’t pick up but rang Lloyds straight away using the number on my card instead. I’d suggest doing that too. Got a text from this number earlier today, saying there was some weird payment on my credit card. I replied telling them it wasn’t me, then the phone kept ringing. I was travelling on a train so couldn’t really hear well, so I just waited to be somewhere quiet. They rang me around ten times in less than fifteen minutes! When I finally called them back, some robot told me to ring a different number. I got a bit anxious and decided to sort it out once I was back home. Since then, no more calls.

I might've fallen for one of those dodgy Sephora ads on Facebook - couldn’t resist this deal that looked way too good to be true. Luckily, my bank stopped the payment before anything went through, but soon after I started getting calls and texts from that number. My phone’s smart ID popped up saying it could be a scam. I’ve gone ahead and blocked them, even if it means my card might get frozen and I’ll have to sort it out with the bank in person or over the phone. Better safe than sorry, honestly.

I’ve recently received a text and voicemail from the number 03330459535, which, after some investigation, turned out to be a legitimate number from Lloyds Bank. They informed me that there had been suspicious activity linked to my card. I decided to ring Lloyds up using the contact details provided on their official website to verify. They assured me that 03330459535 is indeed authentic. Unfortunately, I did have a dodgy transaction on my account. It’s worth pointing out that those claiming 03330459535 is a scam number may not have verified it directly with Lloyds themselves.

Initially, I received a couple of messages that appeared to be from Lloyds Bank. One of them stated that soon I'd get a text to verify some activity on my card, quoting the final four digits. It warned that failure to respond might result in further card payments being blocked. Furthermore, if anyone were to contact me directly instructing me to reply 'yes' to a text or provide a passcode, I should hang up immediately, as that would be a scam. Then, I got a message from +44 7883 306287, urging me to respond or they'd stop processing my card transactions. It claimed that my Lloyds credit card (the last digits provided) was supposedly used on 17-11-2023 at 05:12:07 for £25 at AMZN Digital, and that the transaction had been declined. The message instructed me to reply YES if it was indeed me, otherwise reply NO. Since then, my phone’s been bombarded with calls on both my mobile and landline from +44 333 345 9535. The first time they left a voicemail that began with something about Barclay but quickly switched to saying it was the Lloyds Bank Fraud Team, including my full account name and discussing card fraud. They provided callback numbers: 0333 045 9535 and text support at 0800 056 3874. However, when I checked on the official Lloyds Bank website, those contact numbers didn’t match at all. It’s an exceptionally convincing scam, so please stay vigilant!

I rang Lloyds and they confirmed straight away that this number isn’t from Lloyds Bank at all. What really irritates me is when you look up this number here, the first thing it says is ‘This number is primarily related to Lloyds Bank Fraud,’ which is totally misleading. That message needs changing asap. It should clearly state right away: THIS NUMBER IS A FRAudulent use of the Lloyds Bank name - NOT an official number. Your current wording tricks folks like me into believing it’s legitimate at first glance. Please fix that message so there’s no confusion.

I got a text from this number (07883281339) saying I had to reply or they’d block me in the future. Then they rang me, but as soon as I heard that awful hold music, I ended the call straight away. I then tried phoning the bank using the number I found on their website, 03330459535, but turns out that’s a fake too. Looks like a proper scam, probably trying to nick credit card details. Watch out, this is dodgy!

Received a call today from someone purporting to be from Lloyds Bank’s Fraud Prevention unit, and they even used my full name. The timing was suspicious, especially right after I'd just used my credit card. I ended up hanging up quite swiftly.

This morning, I kept getting calls from this number claiming to be from Lloyds bank fraud department. They rang me four times, all automated messages. Annoying as heck, so I've gone ahead and blocked it now. Proper persistent lot.

Claimed to be from Lloyd's Bank's Fraud Protection Division. They were incredibly persistent-rang me three or four times. They had my name, which made them seem quite credible. In the end, I just put the phone down.

Got a call and voicemail from this number the other day. After seeing some posts about it, I was a bit wary and didn’t ring them back. Instead, I found Lloyds’ official contact on my bank card and gave them a bell. They said it’s definitely their fraud department’s number, so looks like it’s legit after all!

Got a text at 11.36 from this number saying we'd get another one soon from Lloyds. Sure enough, at 11.52 another popped up about a credit card purchase at Deporvillage. How awful! If only we actually had a Lloyds card, then maybe it’d worry us. Then at 12.52, they called repeating the same spiel. I bet we’ll get another one on Sunday morning, that seems to be a favourite time for these scams. Make sure you report every single one to the ICO - https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/ - they’ve loads to deal with but it only takes a minute.

I've now received two calls from this number - the first was only about thirty minutes ago. On the latest call, a woman on the line insisted she was from Lloyds Bank's Fraud Department. She mentioned some dubious activity on my account and urged me to press any digit to connect with someone regarding the matter. What absolute nonsense! Clearly, this is nothing more than a scam.

This is totally a scam, it's not Lloyds at all. Whoever claimed it was Lloyds on this site is probably a scammer too. There's no way this is from Lloyds Bank.

Earlier today, I attempted to buy something from Aliexpress and used my Lloyds credit card for the transaction, but it was turned down. After reaching out to Lloyds for clarification, I was informed that the merchant failed to meet the necessary standards designed to combat online fraud. When I inquired about how I could proceed with my payment, they mentioned there wasn't much they could do. To add to my concerns, I've received multiple calls from the number 03330459535, claiming they were representatives from Lloyds. They instructed me to press a button on my phone. Naturally, I took to the internet to investigate this number, only to discover that it's associated with scammers.

I got a recorded message allegedly from the Fraud Department of Lloyd Bank. They said there had been suspicious transactions linked to my account. They were fishing for confirmation about the most recent payment I supposedly made. They even asked me to share my bank details to verify who I am. Just a word of caution!
