Auto assist insurance ringing me nonstop. Told them ages ago to take me off their calling list and reported it to the ICO too. The more folks who complain, the better chance they stop pestering. It's easy to do, there's a quick form on the ICO site you can fill out.

Got a call from some insurance scam about me being in a car crash in the past three years. The person was really rude and kept arguing, like it was my fault or something.

some bloke rang sayin i’d been in a car crash, but i hadn’t. managed to keep him on the line for like 7 minutes by pretending i’d been in one tho. he ended up sayin the crash was too bad for him to handle. i get calls like this pretty much every day, they never quit. when i’m free i just drag it out to waste their time since they obviously enjoy wasting mine.

This week I've had daily calls from a number starting 0330 059 04, with the final two digits changing each day: 81 on Monday, 55 Tuesday, 69 Wednesday, and 63 on Thursday. They haven’t rung from the one ending in 61 yet, but I’m expecting it soon, probably tomorrow. When I picked up the first time, there was silence and then a woman saying I’d been in a car accident. As soon as I told her I hadn’t, they just ended the call.

Got a call claiming to be from some Motor Incident team, said I might’ve been in an accident, then switched to saying maybe I was just a passenger. Complete nonsense, definitely a scam. My advice? Report it to 0345 4040 506 for consumer fraud help.

Some bloke called me, said his name was Mohammed, and told me I could claim £2500 for a small car accident I supposedly had in the past couple of years. I told him if that was true, I'd be crashing every week - which I’m definitely not! He couldn’t even provide a date, what kind of vehicle it was, or whether I was driving or just a passenger. I asked where he got my details from and said this was turning into harassment. Then he just said thanks and hung up on me!

I received a call on my mobile today, 28th March 2017, around half six in the evening. I chose not to pick up and immediately blocked the number. Just yesterday, I had a call from 03300590481, and I took the same action. The week before, on Thursday the 23rd, I also dealt with 03300590463 in the same way by blocking it. Got called two times today by some lady saying she’s looking into a claim I supposedly made on my car insurance. I told her loads of times I don’t own a car. She kept saying maybe it’s a car I was insured on as a passenger! Honestly? My partner sorts his own car insurance, so why on earth would I be insured just as a passenger? Makes no sense.
