I've just received a rather alarming message from HMC, claiming there's a warrant out for my arrest over tax fraud. Surely, if that were the case, I would have received a proper letter in the post, wouldn't I? And really, how would HMC even have my mobile number in the first place?

Beware of the number 03002000522A! It’s a scam for sure. I received a call from a robotic voice claiming there was a warrant for my arrest issued by HMRC. They urged me to press 1 to connect with someone. Trust me, don’t engage or push any buttons-just hang up immediately!
