I got a call from 0300 257 3258 telling me I had an arrest warrant and to press 1 to sort it out 😂😂 When I did, some bloke with a funny accent answered, saying he was from HMRC and asked how he could help. I told him he just said I was being investigated for tax fraud! Then he tried asking if I was Mr Smith - yeah right, I’m a woman! After I said no, he quickly switched to Mrs Collins, which I also denied, then he just hung up on me! 😂😂 These scam calls are way too obvious nowadays.

Got a robo call supposedly from HMRC saying my name is connected to some fraud thing. It said I had to press 1 to talk to an officer or they'd issue a warrant for my arrest. Before that, a different 0300 number rang me, didn’t pick up, but I’m guessing that was related too. I've blocked both numbers now.

Got a call from this number claiming I owed HMRC £1873 due to some tax issue and threatened court action if I didn’t pay up. Told them HMRC always sends letters and I hadn’t got anything yet. They said they’d post another letter within five working days. The call was really muffled and the bloke’s English was pretty rubbish, so not sure what to believe.

This number rang me earlier and as soon as I picked up, some automated lady with an American accent told me I’d be arrested for fraud if I didn’t press 1. Naturally I was shook and stayed on the line just to see what was going on. After about 3 minutes, a person, also with a foreign sounding accent, answered and asked if I was somebody I’d never even heard of. When I denied it, they just hung up on me. - caller: 0300 2007007
