I got a call from this number telling me I had to press 1 or else I'd get arrested straight away. It nearly fooled me, especially since my elderly mum was targeted by a similar scam not long ago and it left her so shaken she had to be hospitalised!

Had pretty much the same thing happen as the last two times.

Got a call from someone with an Asian accent, aggressively saying I've got a warrant and could be arrested right away for tax fraud. When I told him I was at the hospital with my son, he just hung up. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.

Got a robo call saying I’m under investigation for “tax fraud” which is totally bogus. They warned me if I didn’t “press 1” to chat with an agent, I’d be “immediately arrested” - nonsense! Pretty obvious this was just another scam trying to freak people out.
