About ten minutes ago I got a call saying if I didn’t press 1 Id be arrested. I just hung up and phoned my EE provider who were really helpful. They confirmed it was a scam and mentioned I was charged 34p just for picking up the phone. Glad I didn’t press 1 or it could’ve been worse!

Got a call saying it was from the tax office, Inland Revenue, telling me to press 1 to talk to someone or I’d be arrested. I actually got in touch with Inland Revenue myself and they told me it’s a scam from abroad using their number. Seriously, just don’t press any buttons and hang up straight away.
