Got an automated call supposedly from HMRC, saying there's some fraud case against me. They told me to press 1 to sort it out or else they'd send a warrant and I'd be arrested. Pretty sure it's a scam, so watch out! The number was ‭0300 215 6973‬.

Absolute scam alert!! Someone phoned my mum pretending to be from the tax office, trying to get her address to ‘confirm her identity’. She refused, not convinced they were legit. Then they started threatening, saying they’d involve the police and come to her home! My mum’s quite elderly and it really shook her up until I assured her it was just a con artist. Watch out, these fraudsters are getting more aggressive.

Absolute scam! Someone rang my mum pretending to be from the tax office. They asked for her address to 'verify' who she was. Mum wasn’t convinced they were legit so she refused. Then they started threatening, saying they'd report her to the police and they'd turn up at her house! Mum’s quite elderly and got really upset by the whole thing. I had to calm her down and explain it was just another dodgy scam call and she did the right thing by not sharing anything. Be careful out there! These scammers are getting seriously scary.
