Got a robocall saying it was HMRC threatening arrest unless I hit 1. I did, just to see what’s going on, and they started feeding me all sorts of rubbish. Luckily, I was at work and asked to speak to my mate nearby, but as soon as I did, the woman just hung up. My colleague told me it's obviously a scam. I'm really worried about other people falling for this.

Got a call from ‭0300 200 3954‬ claiming to be HMRC. They said there’s some tax fraud tied to me and threatened I’d be arrested if I didn’t press 1. Honestly, just block the number and get rid of it. If you can, try reporting it somewhere down the line, but for now just ignore it.
