He claimed he was looking into some dodgy tax stuff of mine, which was hilarious since all I get is a pension. Seriously, what tax could I possibly be dodging? I don't even pay any tax! Still, I guess stuff like this might be pretty dangerous for folks who are more vulnerable.

I got a call from 03000 200 3947 and later they left a creepy voicemail. They claimed it was from hmre and said there’s a tax fraud investigation against me. They told me to press 1 to speak to someone, or else a warrant would be put out and I’d be arrested soon. Totally sounded like a scam to me.

I generally dont answer numbers I dont know, just lets it go to voicemail or shoots a quick text. Saw another comment saying "dangerous," so just went with that rating too.

Sounds like a total scam to me. I tried ringing the number back and all I got was a message saying there's no service on it.

I got a call from 03002001212, this guy with a thick African accent said he was from the HMRC. He started asking me for my date of birth. When I told him to prove he was really from the HMRC, he just ended the call straight away. Definitely a scam, watch out!
