I got a call from 44 3002003911 threatening that if I didn’t hit 1 straight away, they’d get a warrant out for me. Honestly, it’s the kind of thing that could scare a lot of folks.

There’s a warrant out for my arrest, apparently. Honestly, it’s high time BT, HMRC and the like started airing TV adverts to warn folks about these scams. Loads of people, especially older or vulnerable ones, get caught out by these sorts of things, and most of them are watching TV anyway. - caller: Fraudster.

I got a call like that too recently. Tried ringing back the number and ended up with a recorded message from Defra Group Fleet Services explaining what they do. Bit strange but at least you know who it is I guess.
