I stupidly hit 1 when he called. The guy had a heavy accent, sounded like he was from India or somewhere nearby. He tried asking me stuff but I couldn’t catch most of what he said, so I guess he just gave up and hung up. It’s definitely a scam. What pisses me off is they got my number and I can’t switch it now since it’s printed on all my work cards.

I got a call just now saying it was from HMRC. It was one of those robot messages saying that I'm involved in some sort of tax fraud and told me to press 1 to talk to someone. I was so annoyed, I swore and ended the call straight away!
