I had a call from this number but I just let it ring for around 10 seconds and then hung up. That's what I usually do when a number looks unfamiliar. If it’s someone important, they can always drop a voicemail, right?

This number, along with a couple of others nearly identical except for just a few digits, have been pestering me nonstop with the exact same scam. They keep calling from numbers that only differ by four digits, which is a clear sign to be wary. So please, avoid picking up calls from these as well: 03002003649, 03002003319, and 03002003333. It’s all the same old story with them, same bogus reasons every time.

This afternoon I got a call from someone saying they were with HMRC. It was the first time I’d had a call in like 2 or 3 months. They kept going until I told them I was going to report them to the cops, then they stopped. The call was actually an automated message. I’ve put the number on my block list now.
