Got a call on my mobile, but it was one of those automated messages and nothing was in English. Pretty sure it’s one of those HMRC scams.

this bloke, something like officer steve parker, sounded like he had an indian accent. when i asked where he was calling from he told me to piss off and just cut the line. if he hadn't been so daft and obvious i might have gotten more drawn in, cos i'd been up all night working and was proper tired. real pushy git as well.

Got a call saying I’m involved in tax fraud or something, then told me to press 1 before just hanging up on me. Kinda left me wondering if maybe I really did mess something up lol.

This site honestly destroyed my business. Some bloke found my number here and started posting all these "dangerous" reviews, and no one ever helped sort it out for me. Bloody frustrating, these lot!

Got a call saying it was from HMRC, but that’s total nonsense. I rang the real HMRC using their official number and they told me they don’t phone folks like that, they always send letters if there’s anything going on. Just ignore and block this number, it’s a scam.

Weird thing happened today, got a ring from 03002003300 - supposed to be HMRC - at about 9:10 am. I tried ringing them back but couldn’t be bothered to hang around on hold, so no clue what that was all about. Then the same number buzzed again around 2 in the afternoon. I picked up thinking they’d follow up, but nope, just some dodgy scam causing hassle. Honestly, such a pain!

It's really upsetting that people actually get tricked by this. I got a call claiming I was about to be arrested. When they asked for my name, I replied, "You called me, you should know who I am." Then the guy just hung up.

The number was unfamiliar, so I just let it go to voicemail. Later on, I tried ringing it back. I got a brief automated reply saying something like: “This number has no services linked.” The caller was labelled as Unknown.

Got a phone call from 03002003645 warning me that if I didn’t press one they'd arrest me for some tax fraud. Total scare tactic to get you to answer. I seriously don’t think HMRC deals with folks this way, seems like a proper scam to me.
