Got a call from 03002003401 with a recorded voice telling me to hit 1 or they’d report me for tax fraud. Totally a dodgy scam, so I just blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from someone saying they were from HM Customs, telling me there's a fraud case against me and to press 1 for details. I’m pretty sure I’ve got no fraud issues, so it’s definitely a scam.

SCAM alert! I got a robocall claiming it was HMRC about some tax fraud issue and telling me to press 1. I just hung up immediately. Something similar happened before, so I ended up calling HMRC myself to check. They told me they never use automated calls for such matters; all official info comes via letter. Just be careful - if you get a call saying they're from some official department, hang up first. Then look up the real phone number on their official site and call them directly to verify. Definitely do NOT call back the suspicious number you received.
