Just got a call on my mobile at about 2.51pm - it was a recorded message from a bloke pretending to be from HMRC saying I’m being investigated for tax fraud and told me to press 1. I didn’t press anything, simply ended the call straight away! It’s a total waste of time and even though it was just a recorded voice, it still came across as quite intimidating and very annoying. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now. Please don’t answer these calls and definitely don’t press 1 - just hang up and report the number here instead!
