This number has rung me several times, every time with a robotic bloke saying HMRC was on the line. Apparently, I’ve got some tax evasion thing going on and they told me to press 1 to talk to HMRC or else they’d issue a warrant and arrest me right away. Completely a scam, don’t fall for it.

Got a call just now pretending to be from HMRC, but it was totally a scam. Watch out, folks!

Got a robo call claiming to be from HMRC saying I’m in trouble with a fraud case and if I didn’t press 1, I’d get arrested. So I pressed 1 and some bloke said, “This is officer xyz, what’s your name so I can check your case?” I asked how he could prove he was actually from HMRC and then he just ended the call. Pretty fishy if you ask me.

Got a call a minute ago from someone saying they were from HMRC. They claimed there was some fraud issue linked to me and insisted I log into my online bank so they could share payment details for £1800.00. Didn’t fancy it one bit, so I just hung up straight away.
