Keep getting calls from “Beneficial,” but I don’t think they’re a real company. They have some outdated address info for me, no clue how they even got it. They ring me loads, like two or three times daily from different numbers, and it’s been going on for ages. Doesn’t matter if I ignore them or try to be firm, if I start complaining, they just cut me off.

Just like loads of others, I've asked them loads of times to take me off their list but nothing happens. I've looked on Companies House for a contact email or anything but no joy at all! If anyone knows how to get hold of them, please share. We could all send a proper written request to be removed before thinking about legal action. This clearly breaks GDPR rules.

They switch numbers all the time and keep saying they’ll keep ringing me until I reply to their questions - it feels like they’re trying to slowly trick me into giving info for fraud! You should report it to your MP, maybe they can pressure the blasted Indian government to put a stop to this!

Lately, I’ve had calls from 029 2246 9208, 029 2246 1261, and 029 2246 3168 - all from Beneficial. Today I ended up in an argument with one of the callers, and he said he’d ring me every single day now. He also threatened to share my number with loads of other call centres so I’d get bombarded, and then went on about harassing my mum and sister too. Lovely people, eh?

Just like others here, Beneficial keeps ringing me every single day. I’ve told them loads of times to take my number off their records but I still get calls from them all the time. I blocked their number but then they just call from a different one. I get really annoyed when I ask to talk to a supervisor and they just end the call. Today, the bloke who said he was the Manager actually hung up on me. So frustrating!

When you check your phone bill and talk to your provider, they usually say 'you made the call so it's on you'. This actually happened to someone I know, so be careful as it might be one of those dodgy scam calls.

The caller ID showed Cardiff, but the call was definitely from India. They claimed to be from some benefits organisation and asked if I'd take part in a home survey. I said no thanks, but they kept pushing, so in the end I had to just cut the call off.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Beneficial. She mentioned my name and an old postcode from a place I lived nearly two decades ago. She said my info came from a “survey” I supposedly took. She wanted to ask me some “quick and easy” questions about shopping preferences or something like that. When I asked where they got my details from, she couldn’t really answer and I said I wouldn’t carry on without that info. Then she snapped, “I’ll be ringing you every day!” and just hung up. Well, guess I’m ready for it.

I didn’t pick up, but after going through the comments here, it seems Beneficial rings from different numbers. Whenever I have answered their call, it’s been quite irritating because the questions they ask aren’t really relevant and feel like they’re trying to pry into stuff that’s none of their concern.

Got a marketing survey call, didn’t pick up but returned the call on my landline. Heard an automated message saying it wasn’t urgent and they’d ring me back, but they also gave a number to take yourself off their call list, plus a proper website link. Looks legit to me. These telemarketer calls are such a pain, they almost made me miss an important call from the hospital’s stroke clinic. Some woman called Maia from Beneficial asking to speak to someone they got the wrong name for, supposedly to check some info. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.

Some woman rang me up sayin I had to answer her questions if I wanted to be removed from their calling list. Her accent was so thick, I struggled to understand a word she said. I just told her to go ahead and take me off their list straight away and tried to end it with a 'bye'. Instead, she goes, 'Alright, I'll be ringing you every day then.' Felt a bit like a threat if you ask me.
