They stated that I was owed compensation from my credit card provider due to an unauthorised increase in my credit limit. They even furnished me with a supposed government regulation number. However, when they requested my full card number, I politely declined. They insisted it was safe since I hadn't given them the three-digit security code, which I found a bit questionable. They promised to send me an email detailing their company, but that never materialised. To top it off, they called again today asking me to check for the email, but I've yet to receive anything. Quite the peculiar experience, I must say!
