Phone number ☎️ 02920958719 👆 is reported as an intrusive and persistent scam typically concerning non-existent home appliance insurance. Callers, often using multiple numbers and both male and female voices with British or foreign accents, employ prerecorded messages or live conversations to offer bogus discounts or policy renewals. They frequently request sensitive information such as bank details, using pressure tactics and sometimes aggressive behaviour. The calls often target vulnerable individuals, including the elderly, and attempts to block numbers are largely ineffective due to the use of numerous spoofed and fake numbers. Users are advised not to engage, disclose personal information, or return the calls. Reporting to official fraud and police websites and notifying MPs to urge telecom regulatory action is recommended to combat this widespread nuisance and potential financial harm.

This number has been persistently ringing me, and the moment I stay silent, they just cut the line. Quite annoying, really!

Loads of calls from this number but I never pick up. They leave a voicemail about some appliance insurance and say they'll ring back the next day. I tried calling 02920958719, and it says it’s Personal Recruitment Outsourcing and to press 9 if I want to stop getting calls. I’ve pressed it twice but the calls just keep coming. Really annoying!

Got a call from this number claiming they could "lower my premium since I had no claims". They wanted my bank info but I told them you already have it. They replied saying it’s all encrypted though. I kept saying no thanks and they kept insisting everyone says no at first but eventually they give in!!! Seriously? I said you haven’t met me then (bit cheeky that). Don’t let these folks pressure you.

Every day at the exact same time, we get this automated call, maybe some robot reading out a message. This morning my lad lost it and shouted at the phone. A few mins later they rang again with the same spiel, so he had another go yelling at them and now, thankfully, no more calls.

I received a call from this number, asserting that they're linked to my household insurance. They mentioned that because I haven't made any claims in the past year, I was eligible for a discount on my upcoming bill. They quoted me a price of £179 but promised a reduction due to this supposed discount. The coverage was supposed to include my fridge freezer and washing machine. However, I already have my kitchen appliances insured with British Gas, so I’m quite sceptical. Be cautious, everyone!

This number is definitely a scam, most likely some Asian bloke trying to trick you. It's all fake, probably one of those broadband rip-offs, and I reckon he's after your bank details. Stay well clear!

I got a call from someone called Adam, sounded Asian, said he was from Domestic Appliances support. He was pushing me to get insurance for my white goods. I reckon he was gonna ask for my bank info but I hung up before that. For about three weeks, every day, I’d get calls from this number with a woman speaking English, leaving a pre-recorded message saying she’d “try to get in touch with me.” Today was the first time I actually picked up. Seems like a scam, very believable though. Watch out folks!

Yeah, it's that typical trick where they try to get you chatting about your home insurance, then slip into questions about covering things like appliances. They nearly fooled my aunt since her policy is up for renewal shortly. When I asked which firm he was working for, he gave some name I didn’t recognise. After that, I just said it was nice talking and hung up.

For several weeks now, I've been receiving calls on a daily basis from this number claiming to be a home insurance provider. The voice on the line varies; sometimes it’s a woman, other times a man, but both sport a British accent. They tend to leave voicemails saying they'll attempt to reach me again the next day. I've since decided only to pick up calls from saved contacts, as these individuals are an absolute pest, switching between various numbers to try and catch you out. To make matters worse, my block list is overflowing! My appliances are insured with Domestic & General, who don’t engage in cold calling. Please do spread the word to your friends and family about this fraudulent activity.

A bloke rang me last week saying he was from Domestic Insurance and was looking to give me a discount on my appliances. He offered to switch my payments from monthly to a single £789 payment that’d cover the next two years. I told him I wanted to stick with monthly payments. He then said it was alright and that I’d still get a discount, but asked for my bank details to set it up. I wasn’t about to give those away! I asked him to email me the details first, and as soon as I said that, he just hung up.

Got a call just after 5:30 in the evening from someone claiming to be about my home insurance, insisting I already had a policy with them. They kept pushing even after I said I hadn’t, telling me to double-check my documents and suggesting I might have forgotten. I’m pretty vigilant about scams, but this one nearly got me. It wasn’t until I hung up and looked up the number here that I felt certain it was a con. I wouldn’t have handed over any bank details, but it was still quite unsettling.

a bloke kept ringing insisting he was calling from domestic & general. he wanted to offer me a 'discount' but only if i verified what exactly i'd insured with them. i told him he already had all the info he needed. then he started getting annoyed, saying if i missed out on his 'offer' it'd be "given to someone else." he clearly didn’t know what’s on my insurance, and when pressed he just guessed wrong. i’m certain it was a scam - trying to trick me into handing over bank details or something. so i just hung up on him.

Just got a call from someone claiming to be from Domestic Appliances UK, asking about my insurance coverage for my appliances. I received a curious call from someone inquiring about my home insurance specifically for my kitchen appliances. The caller mentioned they were from a company called Domestic Cover and provided an address at 13 Oxford Road, Manchester, though they didn't have a postcode to share. They referenced my policy number as WG10072 and eventually hung up. They also stated that my monthly payment was around £30, but their English was rather difficult to understand. Quite a strange encounter, to say the least!
