Some smooth talker was fishing for my O2 security code. I played along just for a bit of fun to see where it’d go. After a while, I got a legit message from O2 telling me I was likely being scammed and not to give out the code. I ended up calling him a sewer rat and he started claiming I was the one who phoned him and told me to stop ringing. He really did not sound like he enjoyed what he was doing.

Got a call supposedly from O2. At first, they claimed I’d get paid if I ended my contract, then suddenly switched to offering a brand new iPhone with a SIM for £22 a month over two years. They kept grilling me about who my current provider was and tried pushing for my email. When I asked them questions, they couldn’t give me any straight answers and finally said I was just wasting their time.
