Someone said they were from Currys, trying to sell me a “deal”. It really seemed dodgy, like the number was fake, with that echoey, muffled call centre noise. I just hung up straight away.

Today (15/07/22) at around 1:15pm, I got a call on my Virgin Mobile from 02882777024. The person had an Indian accent and said he was Dan from O2, but then just ended the call. Oddly, I do have an old phone with O2 still. I can’t help feeling a bit iffy about this. Definitely looks like a spoofed Caller ID to me.
