Over 90,000 searches? What’s wrong with some people nowadays, honestly. Where’s the honesty gone? I get we all need to earn a living, but there must be plenty of honest jobs out there that don’t involve trying to con folks. I can block these calls easy enough, but I worry about loads of older people who might not be as quick to catch on.

Got a call from someone pretending to be O2, saying I’d been selected for a deal giving me 30% off my phone bill. They insisted they didn’t need any details off me since they supposedly already had everything they needed - which felt a bit dodgy from the start. They also wanted to send a couple of texts, which I reckon were phishing attempts to steal my info and login. When I asked them to prove they were real, they just ended the call. Pretty obvious scam, probably one of their slicker tricks. Best to steer clear and waste their time if you can, but definitely not genuine.

I received a call purporting to be from O2, claiming I was eligible for a promotion that would grant me a 30% reduction on my bill. The line they used, "We don’t require any details from you as we already possess all the information necessary," raised a few eyebrows, to say the least. They insisted on sending me a couple of text messages, which I suspect were attempts to fish for my personal data and login details. When I pressed them for any sort of verification to back up their claims, they abruptly ended the call. It's glaringly obvious this is a scam, and it’s quite possibly one of the more cunning ones I've encountered. Steer well clear of this, folks. If you feel inclined, waste their time a bit, but rest assured, they are not genuine.
