Got a message claiming to be from mhrc, with the exact same name as others mentioned here. Definitely looks like a scam to me, but it could easily scare people who aren’t aware of these tricks.

Got a call from 'Lisa Williams' supposedly with "HM Revenue and Customs" - it was that same recorded message again. Honestly, these scammers are a nightmare and should be stopped for good (maybe locked away). They’re just waiting to trick older or trusting folks into handing over stuff or doing as they say, which could cause real harm. I've reported it all to HMRC now.
