I keep receiving a call at 11:15 every day, but I never pick up. Instead, I hop onto this site right away to see what's what. Each time I check, it's been flagged as a dodgy call. Had a good laugh with her by pretending to be the house butler, claiming my boss forced me to stay in the garden shed and refused to pay for proper insulation, even for his own outbuilding. I gave her fake addresses, names, and towns, which left her pretty puzzled. She was surprisingly courteous throughout, unlike others I’ve dealt with. Honestly, it turned into a bit of a game. All signs suggest this was just another run-of-the-mill Calcutta scam call.

A woman called, asking for my dad by his full name. Thing is, he never lived at this address, and he’s been gone for seven years now. I usually handled all the utility stuff for my parents, so it felt off straight away. Pretty sure it was a scam. Looks like whoever was behind it must’ve got hold of their details and my landline through some glitch or hack in the utility company's system. I can’t figure any other way they’d link my number to my parents’ names.

Keep an eye out for calls from numbers beginning with 023940085. Over the past couple of months, on dates like 9th, 11th November and then on 8th and 11th December 2022, I've been phoned by different endings like 66, 69, 70, 71, and 75. The callers claim to be from a firm selling loft insulation. When I told them I don’t have a loft, they got a bit rude about it.

Phone rang early at like half 8. I'm 65 and only up because someone was due at 9, otherwise I'd still be in bed and that call wouldve actually woke me. Some woman asked for me but I just said no thanks, it’s way too early for this kind of call. Then I told her bye and hung up straight away.

Don't pick up on these calls scammers keep ringing from all sorts of numbers. Just block and report them straight away! They'll just keep bugging you if you respond.
