It seems to me that this might very well be a scam call. I received the initial call at half nine in the morning, followed by another at half two, both originating from the same area code but using a different number each time. I opted not to answer either call, and to my surprise, no messages were left behind. I can’t help but ponder how many more times they’ll try their luck with various numbers! They're clearly tenacious, banking on the chance of fooling someone eventually!

So this guy rings me up, says his name’s Ben or something like that, sounded like he was Indian and spoke really slowly so I could catch what he was saying. I got two calls from this number over a span of two days. The first call had the number hidden, while the second one revealed this number. They were inquiring about my late husband, who has recently passed, regarding some shares in British Airways. On the second call, I simply hung up, letting them know they must have dialled the wrong number.

Got called twice this morning by numbers that looked almost the same, both saying they were from Portsmouth. We don’t have any connections there at all. I’m not gonna label these callers as evil - that word should be saved for really terrible people like Putin or those who hurt kids by bullying or worse. But what they’re doing is really cruel, especially to older folks like me. If they don’t see how wrong this is and stop, they’ll only end up causing themselves trouble. Chasing money isn’t worth causing such pain!

Over the past three months, I've had no fewer than ten calls about loft insulation, all from the same numbers. Each time, I make it abundantly clear that I’m not interested and kindly request that they refrain from calling me again. Yet, despite my efforts, they're relentless in their pursuit, bombarding me with unwanted calls. Surely, if this number is based in the UK, it contravenes the Data Protection Act, considering I've never given my consent for them to initiate contact in the first place!

Got three calls this morning, and it’s a bit odd. First one was about some unauthorised card use, which freaked me out a bit. Then, the next two calls were dead silent - no one answering or anything. It looks like a new thing because they’re calling twice in the morning with about half an hour gap, then again once in the afternoon. Each time it’s from a different number too. I’m on the TPS, so I don’t get why these calls won’t stop.
