These scammers keep ringing me from loads of similar but different numbers. Every time they call, I make sure to block them straight away. It's become really irritating now.

This number has rung me a few times now. Once I picked up, but as soon as I did, the call just dropped with no one there. I gotta say, I’ve heard others mention it too, but I found Action Fraud completely useless when I tried to get help from them. Also, the City of London Police didn’t do much when I made an official complaint. Really disappointing all round.

Honestly, whats the use of TPS when dodgy scammers just keep slipping through anyway. Its beyond frustrating. They really should do something about it and quick. Ive reported scams to Action Fraud a couple times now but they just say they arent gonna do anything about it, which feels like a complete waste of time. Something’s gotta change for real.

Got a call from someone with an accent asking for Mr & Mrs, then they said our right surname. My number didn’t sound familiar, and the voice was strange, so I just hung up straight away. Later I looked up the number online and it looks like a scam. Bit worrying that they seemed to know our names though, could easily fool other people. Always safer to check if you’re unsure.

Got a call from someone but I couldn’t make out what they were saying at all - the accent was such a mix, sounded like a bit of Scottish, a bit of Irish and maybe even some African thrown in. Absolutely no idea who it was!

Got a call on my phone from someone claiming to be Rose, who said she wasn’t selling anything. I asked where she found my details, and she even messed up my name completely. Then she said they were calling people who aren't on the TPS... which I am, I told her straight. She switched to her usual spiel about loft insulation, but I cut her off by raising my voice and then blocked the number.

This morning, I picked up a call from a woman who had quite a pronounced foreign accent. Without any small talk, she jumped right in, asking if I was (my name) and if I owned my residence. It turned out she was keen to let me know I could potentially save up to 70% on my energy bills! I mentioned that, yes, I reside at that address but I wasn't about to verify my ownership. After that, she courteously wished me a pleasant day and hung up. It’s amusing how they always seem to inquire about property ownership!

At first I didn't pick up, but then I rang back just for a laugh to mess with the spam callers. A woman with a foreign accent answered and claimed she was from some loft insulation company. It was obvious it was a call centre. She wanted to speak to Mr or Mrs [Surname], so I decided to play along. Since she already had our address, I started giving her fake details and silly answers before hanging up. They were saying they'd send someone over to check the loft insulation, which sounded dodgy to me - who even are these people? I’ve blocked and reported the number once again.

Proper annoying and won't give up. They keep calling about my ex who's been gone nearly ten years now. Totally different numbers but the same old story every time, and I've told them loads of times to take her off their lists. These scammers are right muppets, honestly, the phone companies ought to team up and do something about them. I’m not after insulation, windows, kitchens, health cover or a new roof, and I don’t even have a missus anymore - just a message to the scammers reading this, stop wasting my time!

I got a call from some bloke with a foreign accent who began rambling on about insulation. Then he asked if I owned the house he was ringing about. I told him I don’t deal with these cold calls and was about to hang up. Looks like the call came from a Portsmouth number or something.
