Just a heads-up, if they ring you once more, let them know you'll be charging them a fiver for every minute of your time. A mate of mine has had some success with this tactic and has actually secured two payments via the small claims court-one for £190, another for £230, both plus extras. The courts really seem to back you up if it's becoming a persistent bother.

Yet again, these clowns (TNS) have dared to ring me up at 20:57 on a Friday night, completely disregarding the fact that my number is unlisted and registered with TPS. A quick search online unearthed a couple of email addresses, so I've sent a rather irate message to the following contacts - feel free to voice your own frustrations as well!

I've also flagged this with the ICO and TPS, but I suspect those ineffective organisations won’t lift a finger to hold TNS accountable for their incessant cold calls.

All of these calls occurred over the past week. The 0161 numbers targeted my mobile, and I find it quite straightforward to ignore them. I can't fathom why there's been such a sudden wave of nuisance calls - I've never experienced anything like this in such abundance before. I informed the young chap on the 02084334494 line that I intended to report their antics, but it's clear this isn't the first time they've faced complaints, as my report evidently hasn’t changed a thing.
